How do i make gold dye ?

I want to dye my shizzle gold.

Some people told me it's silver + yellow, other say its silver + yellow + yellow and other say its silver + yellow + orange..

I'm cunfused, help me out plz

Please search the forums before posting, there are about 10 different posts about this same subject.

I've found the silver/yellow blend on the elementalist' garb looks rather sharp.

I agree, look it up using the search funtion next time.

But, it depends on what armor you are dying. If it already has a natural shine to it then you can get a much better gold than most of the cloth armors.

For the armors with a natural shine, I found (green->purple)->orange to work out nicely. It is fairly cheap to make, so you should try it out.
