How do I go about selling my account? I know I can sell my copy of the game on amazon, but what do I do about my account?

Just give away your stuff to your best friend, delete your account, and sell your copy of Guild Wars then.. That sounds like the best solution to me. Selling an account wont work, who would want to buy an account full of names they don't like and items they probably don't need anyway.

Just sell someone the game and give them the unlock code/key. When they install it and log in everything will be there. All the char info is kept server side. Of course it's against the user agreement but it's nothing new. Players have been doing it for years in other games.

If you sell your game, it will be useless to the person who buys it. The cdkey will already be used to create an account, so all they will have is a piece of cardboard and a plastic disk.

I dont think so Arkayne..I bought GW for the first time when I was out of town vistiting a friend. Installed it on a machine of his then came home and installed it. Still using the same guy. How is this different?

I think he can change the email and password in the account to the buyer's ones...

Because you already have an account. That account you log in with is tied to your CDkey. How do you make an account if the CDkey you use is already registered to another account? Well you can't.

I'm not sure if you can change the email address of the account, but if you can, then I suppose you could sell your copy, but you would also have to include your current login information with the purchase.

Well you give them the log in and password...GW is no different then any other game when selling an account..In fact its MUCH easier.

Ya its not like it only works on his computer i have played my game on like 7 comps, and i have rebooted mine and it still works,

all u need to do is give him ur password to ur account, im sure u can change the email.
