I've noticed while playing with my guildie who is a minionator that some skills I do have an effect on his minions. For example, I used "Charge!" and the minions near me started running around very fast like little freaks. This got me to wondering what skills can be used to buff your minions?

I guess what I want to know is how do I tell through a skill description if the minions will be affected?

We tried out a couple more things, like predatory season and favorable winds and those two both seemed to work. Things like "Watch Yourself!" and "Shields Up!" are going to be pretty difficult to test, so hopefully there is a way to know through the skill description whether or not it will work on the minions.

You can't tell through the description, but (I would think) all the abilities that target (multiple or not) allies would be able to target minions, and likewise for enemy minions.

If I had to guess, I would say that any buff you can cast on a regular ally will work on a minion. They're your friends too!

The only ally based spells that don't seem to have an effect on my minions and are kind of a waste of energy are the ones which add health regeneration like Healing Breeze or Well of Blood, since their natural degen is so high and seems to get faster over time. A straight one shot heal works best on minions. A few out-of-the-box spells that I've noticed to be really effective in groups...

Healing Seed
Mark of Pain
Shield of Judgement
Retribution
Essence Bond

Some of the more interesting ones have come from other party members casting enchantments or hexes on my minions for their own use, which is kinda cool actually. Normally I'm the only one who ever uses them, but the other night in Fissure the entire party used them really effectively.
