Skill unlock question

i am just curious.. thinking about making a PvP character, but i already have 4 PvE ones so i'd have to delete one...

if i do delete one, do i lose the unlocked skills for PvP?

for example, i have a lvl 20 mesmer with very many skills unlocked.
if i delete her, and build a PvP mesmer, will i have access to all my old mesmer skills even though the PvE character is gone?

i mean, i could buy them with faction (or somethign like that, haven't played any PvP at this point so i'm not 100% sure) but that would be potentially annoying.

not that i'm gonna delete a lovely mesmer, but i have some other potential victims, mwaha

You don't lose any skills for deleting a character.

anything unlocked is account based not by the character
