Opinions on what to do with this staff
LifePincher
Some people say salvage it and some people say keep it and sell it. I've been offered up to 34k for it but that offer was made by someone I have long forgotten his name and the offer is no good anymore
What's possible to salvage from this anyway?
Yay or Nay on Salvage?

it's a pretty nice staff...
suggestions: either sell it or keep it. I don't know what else you are looking for in regards to suggestions.

Wow trash, there's a garbage icon in your inventory message and it's meant specifically for that item.

That item is a bit too broad, as it goes to 3 different attributes.

Should I salvage it?
What's the best I can get from a salvage?
As for trashing it, I'd sell it for 444 Gold before that **LOL**

I disagree with oddsock. This is a pretty good staff with a decent enchantment bonus. Keep it for a smiting character if you ever make one.

If you salvage it, you either get the +5 armor modifier or the +15% longer enchantments, either of which are great.

I agree with arnansnow...I'd salvage it. Both of the upgrades are really nice upgrades....and would more than likely sell for more than the staff would
Ensign
Collector smiting staff is better. Junk it for the 444 or salvage and hope for the +5 defensive part.
Or find some sucker who's all OMG GOLD TEXT TAKE MY MONEY.
Peace,

if you salvage you have a chance to get the +5 armor or the +15% ench. upgrade, but you can get only woods :|
my opinion
try to sell it for 1-2 day, if you get an offer > 5k , sell it
if no, try to salvage

Willow
I would have sold it along time ago for that 34k.
If I were a smiting monk AND a water elementalist, I'd say, "hey, awesome," and I'd pay a ton of money for it.
I don't know of too many of those.
If you've got the storage space, you might try hanging onto it for a while.

Good if you're a smiter/healer/water mage.
In other words, sell/salvage it.

The Destroyer
Thats a nice staff plenty of MO/EL farmers that will pay well for it. Sell it or salvage the upgrades for your own staff. Personally I would keep it for my Mo/EL he smites and uses water magic for mist form and enemy slow downs.
LifePincher
Ok guys, I'll take the suggestion from "ENSIGN" and try to sell it for the gold letters. Ooooh, ahhhhhhh.............. GOLD!
I'll post update on what I eventually do.

Some people might buy it just so they can salvage it and get some good modifiers.
Pendragon Light
I say you sell it to someone for quite a bit of money. I think having 34k is better than a +5 armor upgrade.
Bueno Star
actually its not so bad.
if you ignore the water modifier, its a pretty decent Monk staff.
max dmg= good
low smiting req= good
+ healing prayers= good and not very common.
water magic= wtf? (ignore)
in fact if you DO sell it, hit me up with an offer.
i dont know about 34k though. that seems high

Sereng Amaranth
What does the light damage mean? Is that what all smiting skillls use? Sorry, I haven't played a monk very much.
Silmor
Light damage means it will deal double damage on undead and necromancers wearing Necrotic armour.
Indigo
I think the staff is great if you're an Elementalist and Monk combo. Other than that, it's OK....
As to what to do with it.... Sell it or salvage it.... *shrug*
