Q: Dual shot - how does it work ?

Hi, i'm thinking of creating a ranger.. and i wonder how dual shot works?
Example:
Melandru's Arrows {Elite} - Preparation
For 18 seconds, whenever your arrows hit, they cause Bleeding for 3-21 seconds and do 8-24 more damage if they hit a target who is under an Enchantment.
and if i use a dual shot on a person with enchantments on

do i deal 150% arrow damage , and 2 x the 8-24 more damage??
so pretty much i'm asking if the dual shot acts as 2 seperate arrows

Yes but the two arrows are slightly weaker than a single arrow. Otherwise, they have all the effects a normal arrow would have.

Each arrow is 25% weaker than a regular arrow.
