Do quests effect what other quests are available/

I'm playing throught he game on my second char, and i'm not really interested in exploring ad seeing the world, because i've done that before. I care the most about unlockign skills for use in PvP.

I generally only accept quests that have skills as rewards... but i'm concerned that the other quests with item or XP rewards unlock other quests that may have skill rewards later in the game?

Is this an issue or not?

Some of the time you have to finish a quest before an NPC will give you another one.

There are quests that are pre-requisites for other quests, but that is about it. Most quests don't effect other quests.

can quests that don't offer skill rewards be pre-requisite for quests that do offer skill rewards?

I know there is a +15 attribute quest that requires you to complete a quest first that doesn't offer a skill reward. I think that one begins in augury rock.
