way to exit a quest?

not sure how i got there, but im at a quest where i would up going through old asheron, then to the breach. and then i died. my corpse jsut layed there, nothing happened. I logged out, and back in, and was at the beginning of the quest that i started. i brought up my map to go back to town, but there was no option. Im stuck, and im pissed, someone please help, lol
