Rubies/Sapphires?

So has anyone ever found out yet what these are for? I see them every now and then selling @ rare material trader for 13-15k each and I'm buying them left and right assuming they'll be used for something cool eventually.....just don't know what?

Anyone have any more insight then this, or are we all clueless?

IMO it's all pretty worthless. Once you unlock everything whats the point in gold?

Sure if you like PvE I guess but why would you want or need flawless gear just to PvE.

I still think they should be used for super leet ele 3rd eyes.
