Iron Mines Bug?

***Eh, some spoilers ***

Today, I tried the Iron Mines of Moladune (sp?) mission 3 times. Two of those times, the mission was "bugged", and we were unable to finish .

What happens is, when you finally reach the end of the mission (to the place where Markis should be), he isn't there. Everything else is normal; the jade armours come out and start beating on you, all the other units are there, etc. But Markis is nowhere to be found! For those who are not aware, you have to kill Markis to finish the mission .

Markis was even at the start of the mission running across the bridge.

As I said previously, it only happened twice out of three times. If I remember correctly, the only time it wasn't messed up was the time where we actually stopped to infuse; the other two times, we ran the path to respawn at the cinematic, but didn't go and actually infuse our armour. I assume this was the cause of the problem.

Has this been happening to anyone else? It's a really annoying bug because it isn't know until the very end, and it wastes everyones time.

I've encountered this a few times too. There are other such bugs like the first Underworld quest which sometimes doesn't open up the doors so you can get to the first monument.

Not like this, but I once defeated Markis and the mission simply didn't end.
There was noone left to fight, except for the mobs further down the road, which nuked my henchies quite fast, so that I had to return to the outpost again

Possibly triggering the cutscene early is messing up his pathing. If you wander down the main road, you'll find him eventually, as he doesn't teleport to the end, but actually walks the whole way. There used to be a bug where his pathing broke occasionally on a group of white mantle, but that was fixed a few patches back. If you manage to find him stuck somewhere, send in a bug report.

This is from my experience only, so it can be wrong.

If Markis isnt at the normal place where he's supposed to be then only 2 Jade Armors will break out. After you kill them, go down the right path (not the infuse run path) until u reach the middle of the map (maybe abit further down), Markis should be there. Finally, go back and kill 2 other Jade Armors.

It's really strange that everytime I do infuse run + mission, Markis never shows up where he's supposed to be. But if I just run to cinematic scene and do mission (no eidolon killing this time) he's there.

We killed the two jade armours, cleared the entire (normal) path back to start, and Markis wasn't there
