Ive searched the forums and couldnt find anything related to this so here goes.
Whenever i open up anything that has a bit where you can scroll to go up and down the page my mouse automaticaly scrolls. Irraticaly going up and down and basicaly meaning the page wont stay still and so i cant select anything or read anything. This also happens with gw as gw uses the scroll wheel to zoom in and out.I've had the mouse for about 2 years and this has only just started to happen and its really anoying and means I can't do much with this going on.The problem seems to go on and off though like now its just stopped but i can guarantee it will start again.

Any help would be much apreciated.

Sounds like your mousewheel is having problems. Time to get a new mouse.

yeah it sounds like the switch that tracks the scroll of the wheel is fouled up. I wouldn't recommend trying to fix it or clean it since it would involve disassembling the mouse. It would be less aggravating to get a new one. I recommend the Logitech one that they are giving away in the most recent contest here on GWG. I have an older version of the same mouse and I love it. I've never had any problems out of it and if you do FPS games then the DPI can't be beat outside of a Razor Boomslang or an equivalent mouse.

Cheers for the help. I got a new one and works perfectly fine now.Shop said it had basicaly worn out due to over use.
