I wish I'm not opening a silly whining thread... But, a question really comes to my mind: is it just me noticing how they highly modified the looks of the ritualist and assassin in the character creation, since the previous PvP beta weekend of a few weeks ago?
Now all female ritualists look like Jessica Rabbit -I really have nothing against big breasts, but, the whole body of those ritualist girls look like everything but the body of a RPG character... it looks much more like the body of another kind of game's character. >.>
But I can pass over it; what really disappointed is something else! Am I the only one noticing how all male ritualists look simply UGLY as hell? This extends also to the new looks of canthian male characters for the old professions -why do all girl faces look like top models, and all males look like some very ugly guys??
I remember making a male ritualist on the old PvP beta weekend, and it looked decent enough. Now, trying to create that character again, I noticed that they modifyed the facial looks to make him appear far uglier than before.
....So, the final point of all this, and my conclusion: it's as though the Anet guys made the characters creation in order to appeal a category of nerd male teenager: so that this hypotetical target-player will either create a big boobed top model and satisfy his teenager fantasies, or create some quite ugly male character so he can identify with him.
Please Anet guys. You're still in time. Adjust the character creation. At last give me one or two decent facial looks for the male ritualists... facial looks that don't seem so gay!!! ;__;
(Your opinion on the subject, fellow forum members? Is it just me?)
perplexities about the new character creation....

I wouldnt say it's the faces that are the problem... to me it's the whole bloody body that looks ridiculous...

I don't see a problem with the faces, you just need to find the right one to go with the hair style really.
The complaint I have on the character creation is how much it's changed since I was able to play properly, or rather since I had to make a new character. Which was before the Factions Login Screen. For some reason I favor the less difficult version rather than the one with the menu's that pop up from being nearly invisible. Seemed easier just to have arrows and the small slider.
My friend's ritualist chick looks nothing like Jessica Rabbit either, she looks like she could kick someone's ass to the lowest hell and back again. It all really just depends on the face and hairstyle and hair color. The body style would be nice if you coudl choose maybe making them a bit less skinny, my bf says the Assassin looks like a size zero.

I'm not all that interested in the asian faces, quite honestly. I made a male monk for the FPE and all I had to choose from were asian faces. I like the Prophecies monks better.
Eventually I hope ANet allows character creation with combined Prophecies and Factions faces, hair types, and skin colors (if you own both campaigns). I hate having a limited selection of the total available types that are out there.

For all the running Ritualist females do, you'd think it be in their best interest to secure their chest a little better.
I guess sports bras were not known in Cantha.
Does any of their other armor change that appearance?
