This is going to sound stupid, and I probably will be ridiculed for asking this (because I've played since the game came out), but is there a command for releasing your pet? I have a wolf, but I want to finish the "Endangered Species" quest for Master Ranger Nente on my new ranger. I need to charm a Stalker, but I can't because I still have my wolf. Thanks for your time, and please pardon the dumb question.

Next to Ranger Nente stands a tamer. Give your current pet to him. Sorry, he will not pay, or thank you for it

In post-searing Ascalon? I remember that there was one in Pre-Seared, but I'm standing right next to Nente right now, and there's only a collector.

Er, try the NPC right outside the entrance to Ascalon City (post-searing). Jarrel the Tamer or someone.
