stance

still have a hard time understanding this word, what does it mean? I am a ranger and just bought a bow that doed like 14% more dmg while in stance. So what doed that mean?

Any skill that's marked as a stance in the description.

A stance is a posture that provides an advantage in battle, either by protecting against attacks or improving your offensive abilities.
Especially warriors use stances, like bonetti's defense. Rangers use it too, Tigers Fury for example

At the beginning of every skill description there will be one word to descrobe what type of skill it is. Stance is one type. Others inculde Hex, Enchatment, Spell, etc.

You can activate only one stance at time. Another stance will replace the first one. Enemies can't remove them easily. Only Wild Blow can remove it from target and it is melee range warrior attack skill.

I don't know if Faction has more stance remover skills.

Doesn't Irresistable Blow also take off stances?

Irres. blow doesn't remove them, but the assasin will have wild strike, that will.

Mesmers also have stances galore.. why, 75% of inspiration magic is Mantras and suchlike, (long lasting stances).
