question about spamming spirits

I got a question for Ritualists, that is I casted 4 spirits but only 2 of them show on their icons on my enchant/hex/(up left corner by default) screen. Could someone explain why this happened? Ty in advance.

if two of those spirits were spirits like pain that just do damage and attack they wouldn't have shown up on your enchant/hex bar. unless the spirit has some ability that effects you, it won't show up on the enchant bar.
