New Runes already available at Rune Trader?

I don't really know if this is an error, or intended, but I just bought a "Ritualist Rune of Superior Channeling Magic" at the Rune Trader In Droknar's Forge.

I got some Assassin ones in Ascalon.

The rune trader merchants are all linked. I've had a couple new runes drop (in cantha areas) and sold them to the rune intermediary.. but they don't stay more than a minute because they're in such demand.

Early on in this PvE event I got about 5 minor runs of dagger mastery and one major. I merch the first three. At some point I checked the merchant to see what prices were like only to find there were no assassin runes. At that point I raised my prices. I was able to sell both remaining minors for 2k each. The major went for 1k because a lot of people don't like the hp drop I guess.

Anyway... been a fun weekend for me and my necro.

Damn, those Assasin Runes are impossible to get. Except for the Majors...Guess people think the extra level is worth the -25HP for Superior. W/e I think so too...

Why would you buy an Assassin rune or Ritualist rune for 2k? I didn't play Prophecies from the start, but wouldn't Factions Rune traders start with some stock of runes, thus making then cheaper than 2k until demand kicked in? Or will rune traders start with no runes at all and then get their supplies from players selling to them?
