I figure since I see a storm coming from this war, and there is already a thread about those bloody Kurzicks, how about some support for Luxons? I myself am going to side with Luxons just because the whole Assassin/Petrified Forest thing is kind of emo, and I'll burn that thing down with Firestorm and Immolate

Plus Assassins drop like flies.

Huh? Who says assassins are Kurzicks?

Oh, and you can't burn down a forest if it's petrified. It's stone.

Also, the "Who'd be a kurzick" thread is a luxon support thread.

Actually... assassins are more prone to the Luxon side, Ritualists (who are much more spiritual) to the Kurzick side. I'd be a Luxon if House zu Heltzer would switch over, because I love the german-esqe names (dont ask me why). I'm actually considering switching when the game starts. I'll have to see the full thing before I made my decision though.

my Mesmer, Ritualist, Ranger and Assassin are Luxon ALL the way. Give me the freedom of the sea over the stuffiness of a petrified forest.

Guild Hellzapoppins will be allied to the Luxons. No emo's for us!

BTW...if anyone remembers the sci fi show Babylon 5, would you say those Kurzicks remind you of Centauri? They were evil too.

They aren't... the Luxons are just too insecure.. they need something wrong to bother us about.

Light is light, only because darkness is darkness.
If there were no darkness, light would not be known.
Darkness becomes the servant of light, for those who choose light over darkness.

But more of the light of the knowledge of God awaits them even today;
If they allow the darkness of their sorrow to break forth into the light of the knowledge that in all
HE REIGNS.

This revelation will become a lodestar. When it goes from the mind to the heart, it becomes the assurance of peace.
It is the bedrock of rest and the foundation of hope.

Trust springs forth as a fountain, refreshing the soul each time a new desert appears.
Future battles will be fought differently now. A new level has been reached.
The weapons of peace rest hope and trust are brought to bear upon every darkness which would prevail upon the child of light.

And therein lies the victory
Therein lies the light of the present darkness
To all who will walk in it!

LUXONS FTW

Actually, the Centauri weren't evil. They just ended up with that deranged emperor who they were terrified of, and he handed over the planet to those monster things, whatever they were. Come to think of it, those monsters actually kind of look like the Mantis Dreamweavers...

Kurzik seems to be a bit too Hot Topicesque to me.. Honestly. I'm finally exploring that side and its beggining to get really drab and annoying. Im sick to death of those mole like Dredge monsters that are just plain difficult to say the least. The forest just seems to be completely dull, hard to navigate, and deadly. I much prefer the vast beatifull landscape of the jade sea, the color of the Luxon area is just amazing.

And besides, the luxons are pirates that ride giant turtles.. thats right.. GIANT TURTLES!! Some of them with cannons, To be honest you really cant beat that.

Luxon Area

Kurzik Area

Yep, Definately Luxons for me

In the first Luxon mission, you get to control their cannon fire using smoke beacons so that you can take out Kurzick Juggernaughts. Pretty obvious that cannons > tree monsters. Unless they get Treebeard, but that's copyright infringement.

yeah, that genocide thing against the Narn...not evil at all.

And on a sad note, Andreas Katsulas who played G'Kar passed away in February from lung cancer.

He became my favorite character in the series. He brought out such emotion and pathos under that extreme makeup. Truly a brilliant character actor.

I must have seen the entire series a million times, and it still brings out laughter and tears. It was an amazing cast.

Now..back on topic....

LUXONS FTW!!! Give me freedom of the open jade sea over the stagnation of a petrified forest anyday.
