99% of the time they drop those damn tusks

but i dont get how i can get that kinda drop since the quality is decreasing after some runs .. and suddenly.. lotsa items ^^

still fuzzy on how that system works
like everybody, i "cycle" the places after some runs ...
what are the exact conditions to return drops to normal oO ?

if you do it alot drops will suck, if u hardly ever do it, drop rates should increase (theoretically)

They can drop good, got a 14 > 50 ivory bow once. Still overall I dont rate them unless I need wood planks :/

ive started to get more and more good drops from the trolls recently.

Got a req 8 15>50 fellblade a week ago...
Only good drop i ever got there though, except for some chest drops.

Ettins seem to be the same way for me. Yesterday, decided to randomly do an ettin run with my warrior. 2 golds dropped. 3 purples. all from the last 2 groups i fought. one of the golds had superior vigor, the other gold had a superior hammer mastery i think. Drops seem to be completely random sometimes :/

The other week I had 3 gold drops and 2 purple from one run of Trolls. I was a little...unnerved. I almost expected Gaile or Frog to suddenly appear and smite me.

Yea, Every once in awhile they drop a gold axe for me. I got a Vampiric (perfect) Battlepick of Axe Mastery (16%) there once, and I salvaged the Axe mastery suffix....I hated it...

About a month ago, I was doing that one mission that you have to run past the white mantle without getting seen. I saw this back road, so I took it. Lvl 20 Nightmare thingys popped up, so I smithed the crap outa them. Both dropped max dam gold items. I continued following the same path for about 4 more Nightmares. All of them dropped max gold weapons. Then, I tried with my ranger, and got glittering dust.

Holy crap - only one raven staff dropped. Thats unbelievable!!!

I've only found 2 yellows in the past months at trolls-moved back to UW
