Again the *knows nothing about computers* thing comes into play here. A new case would mean taking everything out of the one I have now and putting it in that one... Impossible for me to do it. Especially with this case I have now, I dont even see any screws or anything that gets the the insides accessible enough to take everything out. If the graphics card im getting (X1600Xt) doesnt work.. I'll just keep the one I have now.

Ya, I don't recommend working on an expensive computer if you don't have experience.

Then again, there's nothing that compares with hands on experience. Eventually you will need to get your hands dirty. A fun way to gain some experience is to look in your local paper for people selling very old computers (still working) in bulk for cheap. At a certain point computer parts become worthless junk that know one wants, so take the opportunity to learn on those old machines. Set up a clean room in your house with a work bench or table and practice taking a computer apart completely and putting it back together. Buy a book on computer installation that has lots of pictures that walk you thru it.

You apparently know SOMETHING about computers, you just need to expand your knowledge. Knowledge is power!

Not sure if they would allow this, but ask them if you can watch them install it for you so you can gain some knowledge. That might be asking to much of them. I would even offer to pay extra to just sit quietly and watch them work. The knowledge you will gain would be extremely valuable in the future.

VERY IMPORTANT

MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER SUPPLY YOU BUY IS COMPATABLE WITH THE SETUP YOU HAVE OR IF YOU NEED A COMPANY SPECIFIC POWER SUPPLY

Just got my card in today and installed it and WOW I can definately tell a difference especially on CS. I ended up going with the X1600Xt (much thanks to the one that recommended it as the most suitable for my setup) So far its running great, the graphics looking freaking sweet and its alot smoother. Heating is no prob because I have an air conditioner in my room so its always real cold in here. Thanks everyone who helped me out!
