Well... the image somebody posted about the HoD swords getting imported by a Canthan (which I laughed histerically at.) It got me thinking today during Social Studies (I know everything she asks anyway.) Green items! Unique to the Shiverpeaks, Kepkhet Marrowfest, and The UW (which may be accessable from Cantha...) and Tombs. Will people begin to import those specialized items into Cantha, selling them at such outrageous prices and getting them bought anyway for their rarity on the continent? Will it work both ways, with people importing Canthan weapons and (if there are any) greens? Will the prices finally go back up to where it becomes worthwhile to work so hard just to kill a couple of bosses for some weapons with shiny skins and mods?
Any thoughts? Additions? Suggestions? This really isn't an oppinionated topic, just suggestions and thoughts, so please don't completely shoot down or flame, since I want this to be a legitimate discussion about the effect on the economy due to the mergence of the game and the complete difference in the way the worlds work.
Imports!

I can see Prophecies items going for a bit much in Factions, as there will be new players who do not have Prophecies... but I'm not sure the reverse would be true, as most Prophecies players will (probably) get Factions.
Unfortunately, with a new player base that is uneducated as far as Prophecies items and rarities, etc... I can see more scams popping up too. (Or just people ripping others off, whether you consider that scamming or not...)

How many folks do you think will be "GW Newbies" in cantha? I'm guessing a pretty small percentage. All those other folks will know the prices or already have the items. I really don't see a massive flow starting up going into Cantha. Going the other way tho... very possible.

The price of "imported" items won't be any higher. There is zero trouble or expense involved in bringing a Tyrian green over to Cantha, so why any added cost? Most players will own both games anyways.
Actually, I wouldn't be suprised if somewhere in the Battle Isles becomes the new default trade location (like LA1 now) since it is common to both games and everyone can access it.
