recently i have been wondering how useful either fest realy is in pvp.
i mean with 12 inspiration it heals you for abour 120hp and gives the target enemys -3 energy. all sounds good, but with an 8 second recharge and 2 second cast (tho with fast casting this doesnt realy matter) is it realy that great?
i know mesmers dont have much healing abilitys, so i was thinking about using monk healing, but then that takes attributes away from inspiration which is a good sourse of energy management and ench/hex removal...

any thoughts?

healing wise, yea it doesnt seem that great, but its better than nothing mesmers got a lot of new spells in factions, u could always try to find a better build with the new spells if u really h8 either feast

good skill.
heals a hundred odd health, cast time only 1 second with near-decent fast casting, enemy -3 energy.
no real problem.

Always bring my self healing to survive a little longer if the monks are busy for something else.

I really think it depends where you are.

In TA, its nice to bring along. You might not even have a Monk with you.

In GVG I really don't believe its necessary. There are so many other things you could use that is simply better than a free 100 health every 10 seconds.

That being said, I personally don't use it in TA but that doesn't mean it isnt a viable option. I use things like Distortion to keep my life up, and I find that if a Warrior is on you, by the time you cast the Feast, the damage from a Warrior will basically cancel itself out....

Dont bring a self heal but a dodge like distortion wont go unnoticed.
