N: Gaze of Contempt
R: Dunno, don't play Rangers much
W: Don't play Warriors much, but probably something like On your knees!

LifeInfusion, why Broad Headed Arrow? Everyone was getting excited about it, but the fact that it moves so slowly makes it so easily dodgable. It's a bad skill.

Laser is right. It may be easily dodgable if you don't build around it, but if you're on an interuption build, you want to have quick flight paths anyway... and besides, firing it with a Flatbow under no preps is entertaining. (cough 80 degree angle cough)

I have a long list compared to the rest of you, but here's mine:

Ele:

Ward of Stability - Could end up being a staple skill for eles.

Necro:

Order of Apostasy - Don't think it's as game breaking as people think, but it should be interesting.

Gaze of Contempt - basically replaces rend. Faster recharge, faster cast, unlinked and doesn't hurt you. You're rarely disenchanting anyone under 50% health, so the condition is a non-issue.

Vampiric Spirit - Does interesting things to a dark aura build.

Mes: Most of the new skills I like are here.

Complicate - Doesn't have the ability to interupt multiple people like cry of frustration, but it's better in every other way. Cheaper and acts like a power block against signets.

Psychic Distraction - Locks out anything and it's spammable. Basically a stand alone skill, but I imagine we'll see this a lot.

Unnatural Signet - Not sure about this one. You need very high dom to make much use of it, but dom mes's can do something to a ritualist before the spirit's down. Does damage anything though, so you can use it to help spike if need be. Might be a good skill.

Images of Remorse - Amazing efficiency and spammable.. and gives a decent amount of conditional damage.

Kitah's Burden - One of the few replicates that I really like. You can put this on your bar w/ ethereal.. and have those skills as your only energy management for an illusion mes. I used this both of these on my bar a lot this weekend and loved the results. W/ 40% recharge items, these two provide a good amount of energy and a lot of annoyance.

Shared Burden - Large radius aoe hex snare.. pretty nasty. Cheap for it's effect and decent recharge.

Hex Eater - Touch skill and rather long recharge, but it gives energy and can remove multiple hexes. Good on a bar with inscriptions.

Monk: I love a lot of the new monk skills.

Blessed Light - Removes conditions, hexes, and heals for a good amount with high divine. Expensive, but an all in one skill that can open up your bar.

Release enchantments - Very situational, but if you have a build using a few global enchants, this can be a cheap heal party.

Healing Light - Enchant dependent, but very nice skill. Good amount of healing and very cheap.

Gift of health - If you can manage a good bar with only 1 skill in the healing prayer line, this isn't a bad skill.

Healing Whisper - If you can manage half the range, this has good efficiency and only has a 1 sec recharge.

Life Sheath - Cheap. Long lasting. Uniqe.

Spirit Bond - Like an RoF meets prot spirit. Good recharge, good anti-spike tool.

Deny Hexes - If you have a heavy divine favor bar, this is a very good skill.

Ranger:

Viper's nest - I like the quick casting time here and it adds another condition possible via traps.

Trapper's Focus - I like this a lot.. I hope the duration's long enough to make it worthwhile.

Seeking arrows - Can't be blocked or evaded.. ouch.

Equinox - Maybe this means they're going to make eles good enough for this skill to be a good idea.

Famine - Seems interesting in something like a fear me build.

Snare - Another fast casting trap.

Tranquility - Not sure if the numbers are high enough to give it elite status yet, but I like the idea.

Warrior:

Enraged Smash - I like the concept, just needs to be buffed a bit and not have so much of an investment. Like some of the other new skills, it's basically a stand alone skill and disables the rest of your bar, but it should do that to a lesser degree.

You will Die - Similiar to 'to the limit', but in the strength line.

Primal rage - Can put you around 75% crit rate with 20% armor penetration. Because it's a stance and can't be used w/ attack skills, I don't see it being common, but should be nice for Iwayers and may be nice in the future if more IAS skills are added that aren't stance based.

Signet of strength - Goes with primal rage.

Quivering blade - Great dps, good secondary effect with PT. I like it.

Standing slash - Same damage as galrath if you're in a stance, but cheaper.

It'd be level 26. I've tried it out with about 100 roughly other characters that unlocked it for PvP

Broad head arrow is like Called Shot. It has a set flight speed, which is unaffected by any type of buff. Given that it travels about 50% slower than a normal flat bow shot, your target needs to be dead still for 2+ seconds for it to land.

In other words, it's pretty much trash.

Well, this link: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Skills_...ampaign_Skills

It has a long list of skills but I think many of them don't have accurate description or no description at all. The best way to know them is to read the skill descriptions during the Preview event.

Edit: I just went to the website and I think they have updated the skills! Go read.

Hmm... where to start...

I know I like the new proto monk skills a lot and can't wait to try those out. I like playing pure proto monk (Lina Club Utd.) and stuff like:

Life Sheath
Shield Guardian
Extinguish
Spirit Bond

... just seems something I would definitely check on.

Necro.... I really love the new skills... got to try most of them (cept some of the Death Magic and Soul Reap attributes)

I loved:

Oppressive Gaze (like a weaker version of FoC)
Cultist Fervor
Order of Apostasy
Reckless Haste
Well of Weariness

I'd like to try:

Vampiric Spirit and
Discord

On my mesmer, as some1 noted before, I probably see some of the best new skills in the game. I didn't get a chance to try the elites but I really liked:

Unnatural Sig (nice anti Rt/Ranger spirit killer, but also nice finishing move)
Images of Remorse (I looove this skill)
Accumulated Pain

I'd like to check out Psychic Instability and the other one (shutdown one)

I want to see:

Famine and
Equinox

in action. I love the concept.

Archers signet.....seems like an imporved marksmen's wager to me....since it is not a preparation you can add poison to it etc. , AND still add a stance. Not to mention is recharges just as fast.

Combined with needling shot on a target below 50 percent health = totaly spamable chocking gass uber fast arrows of much monk/elemental deadness.

I am also excited about the new trapper abilities.

Pretty much, the Arcane Echo -> Shockwave -> Crystal Wave -> Shockwave -> Teinais Crystals is the only damage combo for which it is better to take an ele primary over a fast casting mesmer for damage. Except the Energizing Winds Fire ele which only works in one or two team builds.

It's the only way to cause dazed consistently, without haaving to interrupt.

You can use a fast shooting bow or read the wind/favorable winds to offset the slower speed.

Does no one read my posts. Perhaps I smell or something... Regardless, even if you can manage to hit something with it, Daze is only a powerful condition in 4v4, and in those conditions, you can just use conc shot and use your elite on something a lot better.

Mesmer:

Dragon slash + silverwing slash + sun and moon blade: very good adrenaline skill combo. I really like these new sword skills.

Daze is a powerful condition anyway you look at it. Claiming that it's only good in 4v4 is kind of narrow-minded. Look at Temple Strike... The point being: if covered up well, Daze can make short work of any spell-user. Maybe they will start doing Broad Head with Apply Poison much like they do (or shall we say used to do) with Cripple Shot. Powerful conditions are rarely left uncovered... much like powerful hexes.

I am not advocating the use of the skill- I want to make that clear. I am just suggestion a possible solution for its usage.

Sorry about that, it was late at night so I skimmed over.

Regardless, Dazed is a powerful condition in PvE when you want to shut down PvE enemyboss mesmers or monks.

I'll agree with that. I think Broad Head + needling will become a nice combo vs Lvl24-28 caster bosses, especially monks. YOu can hit them without fail as they don't strafe, you can stop them casting altogether and get some decent armor ignoring DPS on them at the same time. It would certainly turn that damn Mursaat Monk boss into a breeze.
