Can someone in pre-searing check something I saw last night - pop outside of Ashford Abbey and look back in behind the statue - is there a Ritualist Spirit there?
Iv'e got a screenshot of it at home, I'll post it later if no-one else confirms it.

but its not there when you go inside? I haven't been to pre-searing for 9 months so I'd obviously forgotten about it.

yes - that is a banshee or something -- you'll encounter it later in one of the 20-point quests. it's been there all along i think.

It's really a 'ghost', just a bit of local color. I mean, you can't have a graveyard without a ghost, right?
There's a lot of little flourishes like that in pre-searing, that's part of what makes pre-sear such a nice place. No, it's not there when you go inside.
However, the model used for this 'ghost' is the same as that used originally by one unique monster in the shiverpeaks, and a class of monsters in the underworld, and which is now also used for ritualist spirits.

yeah, i remember him..he looks so sad when you look through the bars at him....i always hoped they would do *something* with him, even a simple quest or something....
i know..since the red iris flowers are not much use after giving them to gwen, what say they let us collect a few (10 maybe) and he could ask us to pop them on his gracve or something^^

there are many things like that in pre, like when in Ascalon City from were Rurik is, if you go to the left (away from Cynn) you can see Gwen and some ascalon townsfolk near the place where Lady Althea normally is.
