Albax the dragon

Did anyone try to cap Albax (sp?) on the Luxon side? It was a dragon NPC you had to talk to in the last explorable area. Gaile mentioned a still super-secret pet and I didn't know if that meant in the game (which means it probably wasn't available this weekend) or during FPE as well. I thought about tryijng to charm it but didn't wanna chance losing my level 19 blue crab lol. I was thinking maybe it was the Luxon equiv to the Black Moa Bird.

Considering that his name was the light green of an NPC instead of the dark green of tameable animals, I didn't even bother trying. I'm quite certain it wouldn't have worked.... besides, he talks. None of the pets so far have had any kind of dialogue.

Worse case scenario, you get a Dragon.
Probably not though, as it sounds like an NPC, not a pet.
I'm guessing the "secret" Luxon pet will be a Turtle.

The black moa was the dark green of an animal... just like every other tameable animal outside of presearing has been. Albax was not.

Just so that it's completely clear that Ablax is not tameable, here are screens comparing the two. Notice the different shades of green in the names, and the fact that Albax has a green triangle marker on the compass indicating that he's an NPC. As much as I would like a dragon pet, I find it highly unlikely ANet will give us one (Prove me wrong ANet? Please?).

Well, now that mystery is solved, I have another one:
If the Kurzick secret pet is indeed the Black Moa, what does everyone think the secret Luxon Pet will be?
Instead of a turtle, I now think it will be an alternate skin of an Ascalon animal... maybe a pirate Warthog. Imagine a Warthog with an eyepatch, gold earing and peg leg!

I'm thinking it will not be a turtle. This came up in a discussion yesterday. If you'll remember, all of the pets are identical in speed/attack/balance/etc, except the Bear (which is believe to be bugged as a general consensus). A fast moving turtle would be a bit too unreal lol. Even in the Luxon mission where you have to protect the baby turtles (which would be about a pet's size), they were really slow moving compared to pets. I think it will be something other than a turtule. a parrot?

Pets are suppsedly a different shade of green, too, but I never noticed that.
