Just how are we pre-order holders going to get early access exactly?

So, if I already own Prophecy and entered by pre-order key for the Head Start, what will I see on April 27? 4 slots or 6?

sticking my neck waayy out it may depend on if you merge it or not.

if you dont merge you will see 4 slots as it is a fresh game account.

if you merge it looks like no additional slots until the retail key hits because think of the programing nightmare on the people who created 2 trial pre game characters and never bought the retail game.

if i am as lucky as last time my gamestop 2nd day shipping will get it here a day early.

they told me that they would ship early last year and they did.

That's my thinking as well. I think that's also what Gaile was trying to say (that's actually what i first read it as, until I read closer).

I can see some people (those with 4 maxed slots already) being pissed about this, but like I said, use the extra day to explore Cantha with your old characters. But it's really a shame that the Head Start has no bonus slots, which could be simply locked out after the 28th until you have the retail key.

In the UK they have a thing called "street date", where retailers aren't allowed to sell stuff before the date its supposed to hit the streets. Street date for Factions is the 28th, so it will be a very lucky few new purchasers who will get their retail key before then.

the people who get it a day, month early can not play it until the server comes up so they have no early advantage.

that is why gamestop was able to 2nd day my original GW to me early to be sure i had it on time.

street date in this case does not apply but if it is late the person loses out.

I just want to know if we are able to buy the cd key online... amazon and those stores dont send packages where I live

the Play NCsoft store will have them for sale when it is released with just the key emailed to you

i gave the link earlier to someone who wanted another GW without the box and she reported success on it.
