peace and harmony...an elite?
Empirism
Well, is there any reasons that Peace and Harmony to be an elite?
Considering that it is Divine Elite especially for a monk, one pip for it is too ridiculous imo, that you cant counter even malaise for it for sacrificing that you cant attack (i know, it not much, but to casters it is dmg still)
Im not good at maths, so what pro's think, could it be for any use for pvp for sacrificing elite and attack. (comparing to mantra of recall or offering of blood for example)
I like idea behind that skill which suits great to image of monk, but with its current state there are no good other that you just have peace and harmony on you

If you attack a target, the effects stop. It's great for PvE when you focus on your own party.
leeky baby
i think it needs bumped up to a 2 pip then u would get 40 energy over 1 minute i think?! which would give about the same as OOB and recall does i think ?? but atm with 1 pip its useless
Renegade ++RIP++
yup useless unless you got a lot of monks, but even then a simple shatter enchant and the benefit is gone in contradiction to oob or recall
Maxiemonster
There's a big step between Elite and non-Elite, so changing this to non-Elite would make this overpowered, and as an Elite it's not all that effective.
2 pips.. I'm not too sure, but this skill should be changed in my opinion.

Haggard
I used to use it for virtually anything, because for some reason that 1 pip was the difference between slow drainage and just right.. though there are plenty of non elite options to solve this.. but hey i was a nub back then so didnt really think about it.
Undivine
As an elite this does suck. As a non-elite, well... I don't know.
It's a bit helpful for a bonder. And it's recast is good enough that you can keep it on both your monks. Perhaps if they lengthened the recast or something and made it non-elite.

Its Elite because you have the ability to drop it on 2 castors, increasing its over-all ability to regen even more than OoB and Mantra for groups.
the problem with this strategy is that the recycle time to cast makes it dangerous to use in that way. You have to be very aware of your cast cycle or rick missing a cast on the other monk. Worse, you burn that cast accidentally (which happens to everyone in a spam build) on offensive players...and then no one gets that regen.
The logic to keeping its cycle time down is to prevent monks from abusing PnH by dropping it on multiple people as a quick regen in PvP. Worse, with lower recycle you could cast it and keep it on 3 monks in HoH battles and GvGs; making it mathemetically the most powerful regen in the game (yeah, even stronger than Ether Prod on an ele). the "omg! cast this on all yoru castors and they could regen the whole team in no time!" fear is easily appearant in this.
The real-world hitch to this logic is that GvGs tend to split or die more times than not so keeping all three or four monks close enough for PnH to act that way is not doable in practice (though, your hearing this from a person with a guild that doesn't GvG, so grain of salt that). HoH? I can speak for with a little tactical authority. PnH could work that way...but won't. Monks have too many other things to do with their time (and fingers!) than become a group battery and the 1 pip per person only works (say it again and again people, maybe Anet will end up hearing it and realise PnH is already self-nerfing) as long as the castor does not harm the opposition!
But, such is the penance to supplying pen and paper tactics to in-game combat situations.
Anet has taken a step in the right direction, un-nerfing your ability to cast group healing/prot spells without dropping PnH and lowering its recycle to 30 seconds...but its only one step. PnH is still the "monk Energy manager with great potential". But only that. With more Energy managers making their way into monk builds with Factions, the fate of PnH is undecided.
personally, I lean toward the "Oh yeah. i remember that skill. Good potential back in GWP, but it ended up sucking so hard that Anet had to nerf OoB because of monk abuse" end.
Which is really sad when you think about it.

I have just one suggestion for this skill to be really great: to make it a monk skill.
I mean, much in the same way that rangers have Troll Unguent as a powerfull and cheap skill for self healing, it is pertinent for monks to have a Peace and Harmony as a powerfull and cheap skill for self energizing.
If it were a skill, not an spell enchantment , then it would not be possible to remove or shutter it from the monk by a foe, and, still more, it would be compatible to have Peace and Harmony whilst using Contemplation of Purity.
I do not think that this boost would be unfair, because: i) the amount of energy which Peace and Harmony gives to a single monk is comparatively smaller than some other means, and ii) doing any offensive action would still terminate Peace and Harmony.

mariano problem with that <ould be that then you will lose its only real advantge that it had, namely the ability to be used as a groupenergizer. And we would have had to increase it's energyregenrate to 2 prolly... although it might be to powerfull then seeing that it couldn't be broken anymore.
Although the not being able to attack with it is already a decent counter for it and will make it useless for many chars.

I completely and totally agree with marino

I also agree with the posters here.
Sounds like the three popular options are.
1) Make it a non-elite - a good idea
2) Make it a skill and not an enchantment - not bad, can't be stripped, drained, shattered, etc.
3) Change it to Two pips of energy regen. - Personally, I like this idea best.
