Mission to Droks?
DiceX
Other than the mission on the Fire Island, is there a mission that will take you to Droknar's Forge?
You have to go through Thunderhead to get to the Fire Island, so it seems strange to have them loop together.
Is the run from Beacon's Perch, the only way to actually get to Droks?

Yes.
Unless you take the normal way, through the desert that is.

How do you get there through the desert?
Dragon's Lair?
Dragon's Lair?
Mr D J
Beating Dragon's Lair gets you to Forge as well...
Sofonisba
Have you not ascended then? After you ascend, you end up in Dragon's Lair, which mission indeed ends up in Droknar's Forge.
It's always too bad when people get run and finish the game before they know what and why and how.
It's not your fault, DiceX, I'm just saying folks ought to let people play through without trying to convince them to just run the whole damn thing.

Thanks. It's been so long since I've gone through the game, I coudn't remember.
I have a friend that is trying to get there, and does not want to foot the runner fee.
He is ascended, so just needs to do the Lair.
Thanks again, guys!

Why is it people run though the game then complain that the game has no story line.

first character i took thru pve went right with the storyline. i didnt do all the quests tho but i tried to do as many as i could handle with out getting bored of em heh. the storyline of the game was great, it did have a few holes and jumps in it but i just cant understand why someone would say GW dont care about it.
the first time i went thru hells precipice my jaw dropped in exitment as i was fighting the boss with Hundred Blades (dont wanna spoil for those who havent been there). such an amazing ending to the missions of the game. and even then there is quite a bit more to do heh

Here's a story I always tell people on the subject of running:
About 5 months ago, maybe more (the shadows of time have tainted the clairty of my memory), I was dubbing around in the Southern Shiverpeaks. I joined a PUG for a quest or something, and, while we were waiting for a monk, I struck up a conversation with the party's wammo (I'm not wammo bashing, but this is how the story goes). Somehow, we got onto the topic the different features available in Guild Wars. I began talking about how handy the Map Travel function is and he replied with question marks. I inquired, "Have you never used your map before?" to which he replied,
"No. How do I?"
"Just press 'M' to open your map," I said, amazed that this chap had come all the way to the Shiverpeaks and never seen his map. I waited a moment, and I assumed he was pouring over his new discovery with great joy. Seconds later, he suddenly left the party. Already having some idea of where he went, I asked, "Where did you go?" He replied,
"OMFG!!! WTF!!! My map is hax is bugy!!!"
"What?" I inquired.
"OMFG!!! I clicked a thing and it put sent me to a different town wtF!!!" I began typing a reply to explain that that map's purpose was easy travel between locations, but before I could hit enter, he screamed,
"STFU NUB!!! You are [censored]ing gay!!!" and promptly put me pn Ignore.
This story is 100% true.
I shed a tear for the ignorant. I shed two tears for the new players who are run through the game, and thus become ignorant. I am honestly not sure which he is.
