Pve Ranger build

hey can you guys tell me which of these combinations would be better for a PVE ranger that can with stand enemies on its own and deals good damage.

ranger/necro (not too sure about necros)
ranger/monk (shoot and heal.... good idea?)
ranger/mesmer (lower enemy defences and shoot?)

also which skills should i use?

Ranger/X imo, but I prefer necro or mesmer. I like to have an enchant remover for those pesky enchantments. Necro or mesmer are both good for this. Monk is only good if you simply want a reusable res, instead of a signet. You probably wont be loading any heals etc, though hex removal and condition removal are nice. I like my plague signet myself.

hmmm.... alright i think Ranger/Mesmer is going to be my build, any idea how i should do this? ranger for damg and mesmer forr??

That's pretty much what a ranger secondary is for. But if you wanted to go more in depth Diversion is good, so is Cry of Frustration.

okay seems good, but how will these mesmer skills help me in pve? i think u guys made it more of a pvp? but thanks for the suggestions.
