And to answer the question, no, its worth like a 100k less than that, which is like 60-70k. That is just either:

a) noob scammer trying to make a profit

or

b) someone who hasn't logged in a while and is out of the loop on prices

I doubt it is the latter though because I don't think it was that high at any point in GW history.

Is seems like everyone wants to scam. I was looking to buy a Barb upgrade
for a sword and axe. Everyone who replied wanted 5k to 10k. I was like
WTF....I had more than 8 peeps replied to my Wtb ad. For as I can remember
Brab upgrades only go for 500g to 1k.

Well, first off I wouldn't call it scamming. They are offering the item they claim to be selling and they are giving a specific price for it. So I fail to see how this counts as a scam? And you can't really be worried about new players buying it because they don't have 100k or any ectos. By the time people reach that amount of wealth they should know the prices. Just saying its a rising market, not a scam. Don't want to pay for it then simply don't. People are entitled to "try" and sell for whatever price they want.

I do want the item, but im not going to pay 100k+ectos for it becuase i dont think it worth it.

Is like this. I know the price for items Im looking to buy.
Let's say Im in the market for a +30 Sword pommel. And
I get about 5 or more peeps replying saying 100k and 5 ectos ok.
Now that's what I would call someone who is trying to scam me. Thinking
I don't know the average price for what I'm looking to buy.
From reading what you post you must be one of those peeps.
And yes new players do have access to that typed of GW gold and
ectos. Is called having a bank account and making a stop at Ebay.
Shit if I had a bank account. I would do the same thing.
