What does the non-english characters on Faction CE read?

Okay, so I saw the Factions Collector's Edition on Amazon, and I am just curious...

What does the two characters on the factions box read? It could be that my Chinese sucks (although I can read Chinese newspaper in the traditional character set), but I can't make heads or tails of it.

Does anyone know? Is this some simplified characters that I am not aware of? Or is this just fictional Cantha writing?

its not real chinese.... just fictional cantha writing made up to resemble kinda like chinese.

The symbol on the top stands for "Kurzick" and the symbol on the bottom for "Luxon", thus depicting the ascendency of the eternally victorious Kurzick faction.

Unfortunately, I believe there is a 97% chance that it is indeed random scribble that was made to look like chinese caligraphy. (why 97%? I like the number)

Often when one write caligraphy, it is possible to write the word way out of oringinal look. However, these two characters do not fit into that category. Mainly due to that each stroke are straight and seperate, hence that the writer is writing it neatly, which means that the word should come out readable. This is clearly not the case.

All form of caligraphy I know are done in traditional chinese.

You can go flip a 2000 pages caligraphy dictionary, and you won't find a single resemblance with those 2 characters.

If this is somehow done intentionally, then the closest thing I can think of that is relevant to GW:faction are "tu won". That can be translate straight into "dirt wish/desire" or more properly "territorial ambition".

I highly doubt it was intentional, since the writing are more like someone that have almost no knowledge of chinese but had seen a few words. Most likely have done it with a fade memory, and decided to make something up so he/she won't look like an idiot writting chinese wrong. That way he/she can just say "well, it wasn't meant to be chinese anyway... as long as it look asian"; something along that.

Well, at least we can say that it is not chinese caligraphy... if it is, it is a really really bad one (even if those words were real words). The strokes is telling me that the guy had never try using a caligraphy brush before.

Tried rotating the characters to read it or add a few strokes here and there?
I think they changed a little bit of the original characters to make it unreadable and yet to appeal to Chinese players in China.
