faction confussion

Hi,...I am hoping someone will shed some light to this matter. As we all know, last weekend event made some of us players choose side between luxon and kurzick. My guild pretty much choose the kurzick side of the battle. During that time each player that participated in my guild were accomolating kurzick points which each of us donated to the guild alliance points...every 10k faction =20 points. I know that for some guild out there 280 alliance points might not mean much but since we were technically farmers guild we were happy to see that we didnt do bad ourselves..Keep in mind that not all of our guild mates were present for the weekend event. We also learned during this week that if one guild mate choose to fight for luxon and redemmed it points, counts against us...a couple of guild mates made this mistake. Live and learn right, ...however that event has ended yet we continously see declining points...almost 20 points per 6 hours....this kinda made us all scratch our heads...Can someone shed some light into this?....Where could they be getting this faction?....Thanks for anyone who can answer me.

The declining standing you see is the result of an intended decay built into the game to prevent a Guild from rising to the top, and then stopping play to preserve their high rating.

It's nothing to worry about. Once the game is released, all the guilds will likely be starting at zero, since any points accumulated over the FPE will have long decayed by then.
