Sorry if that all sounded negative, I really don't mean it to be. There is a reality to what I say though.
The style is a sort of manga super deformed. The lack of defined hands and feet help maintain a simplicity and softness to the characters. I COULD draw a gritty, ultra-realistic version, but where is the fun in that?
As for actually making a cartoon, . . LOL . . . as I said in the original post, IF GW expanded, this is what I thought would make cute characters for a cartoon. I've done animation before, but unless I am getting paid for it, I ain't touching it! LOL (attn Anet, I'd not mind being a consultant on any smallscreen/silverscreen ambitions!)
I'm surprised a bit that no monks have grumbled about the vapid look on the monk, with her head in the clouds.
