Search Function

You say search and see if there is a post about our idea allready, we search and either find hundreds of threads where either the word is written or/and threads that allready suggest your idea, mostly it's the first mentioned. Many persons either ignore the search and post their idea meaning there is another one out there (guilty) while others do try to search but get the hundreds of threads or so is it down.

While posting in the DOTA allstars forum I noticed that their search isn't in a sub-meny like here, it's right under the thread window. That means it's allways available. So why not implement it to this forum?

We actually had this feature but it was terribly broken. After the change to the new VB, it was removed and wasn't really considered too much, but if there's a significant interest in reestablishing it we'll take a look at it.
