give me a friggin break. this sucks, if people want to solo an area and make some money and (like me) try and find new, cool items... these nerfs suck!

please dont post farming spots anywhere. private message people if you would like to share them.
i never got to open a stronghold box, or whatever the chests were in dreadnoughts drift..
i dont even farm ettins...
but it is so stupid to remove things from the game because people want to try and get items/gold. that is the point of the game to some people.

Since when have Ettins been nerfed? I've had almost 500 rare armors drop in just the past three weeks. If you want proof, go check out the hundreds of armors I've sold in the High End forums.

hmm im curious about this ettin nerf you speak of.

griffons are far from being nerfed since i see them all over the desert in their average sized mobs. just look for em..

omg you have got to be kidding me.... they took out the quest they added into the game to let you get to know the new faction points. in that quest there were large mobs of ettins... and now they are gone... boo #$@ hoo they took out a quest that people were abusing by not finishing it and farming the monster s over and over.

If you had half a brain before making this thread you would know ettins are just a bit north from that spot, where they have always been..

I've been up since before ANet released the new updates so I'm very aware of this. As for ettins, they arn't nerfed. Ettins are still there and ALL OVER the place in north kryta.

I would get your facts straight before posting..As for ranting, It's frowned upon...especially rants about things that have been gone for awhile now.

I've read all the updates about the new settlements in Ascalon Village and everyone I've talked to said the Ettins are still there. Many of them have all ready confirmed that they still drop gold armors. So, I still don't see the problem.

I can only assume he's referring to:

Mukesh the Merciless and his vile undead horde have been purged from the grounds of Nebo Terrace. The Kurzick homeless are pitching camp there as I speak. Likewise, the ettin thugs led by the notorious—and odiferous—Smuush Fatfist have been quashed, making possible the Luxon settlement being built in North Kryta Province.

By order of the White Mantle, I declare both Nebo Terrace and North Kryta Province fit for habitation and trade.

A minor nerf...

They removed two ettins near the statue of Dwanya and replaced them with Kurzick settlement. The also removed two nearby mobs of Tengu.

Not a huge loss since that ettin mob would usually wander into the Tengu and die at their hands.

Over two runs through I got:

2 gold pauldrons (1 Major Smiting, 1 Superior Wilderness Survival)
4 purple pauldrons (2 minor vigor, 1 minor divine, 1 minor illusion)
3 cyan pauldron (1 minor healing, 1 minor smiting, 1 minor tactics)

Meh...
