Take Riposte and Dealy Riposte, since the Doppleganger wears an axe he will use the skills but they wont work.
Just make sure you do have a sword

He/she/it can use all the skills regardless of the weapon types

If you have droknar's armor, just bring frenzy and you can win easily

How did you manage to get full dragon armor and you still haven't beat the dop. Did you have ppl run you through the whole game so far? Dude, don't have anyone run you. Why buy the game to have someone else play it for you?

Anyway. I beat my Dop without much effort and I didn't even bring frenzy. But, frenzy is your best bet.
