I've tried to find out as much as I can but I have reached my limit and I can't search so I am going to ask here.
#1
For instance is a perfect gold item with the same stats not worth as much because there is a cheaper green out there?
#2 Is there a thread that says that necros use blood and monks use xxx mostly therefore a staff of this nature would be worth more.
Like for instance I have this:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3002793
Defensive Shadow Staff of Enchanting
Engery +10
Light Dmg: 11-22 Req 9 Smiting
Halves Skill recharge of Spells (chance 8%)
Halves Casting time of spells (chance 10%)
Armor +5
Enchantements last 20% longer
I get a price check of 15k..why I don't understand how a 20% enchanted low req near perfectly modded staff is worth 15k. I know you can get a 20/20 collectors staff for fast casing but this is across the board halves cast which is more useful I would think.
Is there a thread with a list of desired mods, and max things? I don't understand PCs
Big Fiz
Arya Nibelrund
I would price check that one at around 20-30k but that's not the point i think.
The thing is that weapons are priced according to their rarity. Collectors and greens are really easy to find and there is a ton of them around.
A gold item with the same stats as a green item is ALWAYS much more expensive than the greenie (rarer= more expensive), and mor popular weapons are mor expensive than others. For example, a fire staff is usually worth more than a similar water staff, so is a divine staff vs a smiting one, or a domination one vs. an illusion one.
Also remember that price checks are very personal, so they might be easily wrong.
