Hello Everyone,

Well, we had some fun and did some dance videos. The guild has checked them out and thought it would be fun to share them with the rest of the community.

You can go here http://toft.gogab.com/modules.php?na...download&cid=1 to view the videos.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I had fun making them.

Thanks again. I was getting worried that I would get slammed for making yet another "Synch'd Dance Vid".

Dancing videos can be fun. Some of the most amazing videos I've seen from a technical standpoint were dance music videos.

Art is about doing what you want and showing what you want to express. Don't let anyone, friends of forums discourage you by "slamming" you. Everyone has their tastes, things they are bias to long before you even create your product. They may dislike it based completely on pre-conceived notions. If an artist's job was to make everyone happy...well, then there'd be none. Anyone who actually makes something and has the courage to post it for public display should be given credit. It's not easy to hear criticism of your work if you're passionate about it or spent a lot of time on it.

Hopefully, our art community revolving around Guild Wars understands that and the risks artists take when they post. From what I've seen, most people are very positive and encouraging. Sorry for the rant, but I wanted to draw a line between bashing specific people's work and making off-hand jokes about what type of movie is popular. I truly didn't mean to attack anyone and everyone should continue to make the kind of movies they want to make. That's really the only way we'll end up with the best possible collection of art on these forums.

Good luck with your work!

Hey Zerek,

Thanks for your kind and thoughtfull words. I certainly didn't take any offense, it was just after reading your post that I did a double take and thought, "Oh, no! I'm in trouble. There must be a zillion of these things and people really don't want to see yet another one. Standby for massive flamage."

I think you make a very valid point and thanks for replying to this thread, very considerate.

This was my first post and I should've done some more reading before posting. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't, because if I had read your post first, I would've probably not posted at all.
