Problems Logging On?

I can't seem to get past the "connecting to ArenaNet" (stays at 0%) part of logging on. I've tried rebooting, turning off firewall, no dice. GW worked fine yesterday. After looking through the forum, apparently no one else is having problems logging on.

omg i am having the same problem today. i double clicked gw icon but it did not even connect. stood solid at 0%. never had this prblem b4. so i unistalled the client and i tried reinstalling it but still wud not connect. then i tried running gw from the other computer but still did not connect.? is it the comp thats the prob or is it gw american server?. time is now 9.43 pm gmt.

i think the prob is with isp. i cud not connect to yahoo messenger, msn, gmail, etc. i am with ntl btw.

Well, I finally got GW to work by turning off my firewall and switching to a different firewall I had used. GW then worked. I switched back to the first firewall and I had no problems with GW. I don't know what happened, but that apparently did the trick.

Look on page 2 of the topics and you'll see a topic called Error=058 in the title. Look at that if you don't think people are having the same problems.
