Friends list Groups

I always find it annoying how I have people on my list that I know are important but I cant remember where I met them and why I put them on my list. Also, it would be handy sometime to talk to a group of people in a large conversation without having to make a team and all talk on team chat.
So, what i suggest is a way to group your friends and make your own custom groups, and then a way to invite people into a large group chat, so you dont have to meet up to talk to lots of people if they arnt all in your guild.

Thoughts and suggestions?

actualy location i agree but that takes some privacy from friends , only if there was a hiden mode or something , same for guildies.

i'd much rather have limit on ignore list removed

I have the exact same problem. I find myself PMing people from the list and asking"sorry I have you on my friends list and have no idea where I met you.Where did we meet again?"
To which the reply is "I have no idea" .

Thanks for the feedback guys, now how do I get Anet to do something about it?

It's been proposed before. But I WOULD like to see it implemented. It shouldn't be that hard... at least not as hard as observer mode.

Friend lists need many refinements and updates to them.

-Actually notifying you when a friend comes on!

-Groups.

-"All Friend" chat, or "Group Chat" (for a specific group). Good for speaking with groups of friends who know one another.

-Custom statuses.

-Finding people. Perhaps via a /find command?
