Is this normal? 0_o

I created a new character yesterday (Necromancer/Elementalist) so I'm in pre. I was doing the "posioned devourer" quest when halfway through I lost control of my character. It started walking around, attacking some of the devourers, Cast some spells, and even danced! I couldn't do anything so I quit the game. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Whats the YAWI virus? I've never heard of it. Obviously I don't have it, because I don't randomly lose control of my game. Is it one of the viruses that youy get from trying to download hacks and/or bots and/or third-party software of any kind?

Would that be YAWI as in You Avenge Will I, perchance?

No such thing as the YAWI virus I looked it up. And I don't use hacks/bots/third-party software of any kind... I'm guessing it was just some glitch, it happened a little bit after I killed some devourers. I used the bone horror thing (I think thats what its called) and it sayed invalid target (or whatever it says when you cant do a skill). So I went and attacked another, the character jumped back to the previous one and starting doing the skill. Then jumped back to the one I was attacking and thats when things got weird.

Could have been a huge lag.

That, my friend, is called spam- which is not allowed.
Anyway, the most obvious cause it seems would be April Fools joke but that is pretty mean. I doubt they would really do that. Could be just a rare bug- report it to Anet.

My character often teleports to a location. I klick my destiny, suddenly I am surrounded by agros and than I suddenly stand at my destination. I like the beginning and the end, but the middle part is bad for my heart

since when it adds absolutly nothing to the content of the thread. You can expand on it sure, but what's the point of a thread of everyone's agreeing with the above poster

I get that too, but mroe often, the mobs lag to me, and just stand there, if i try to interact with it, my character acts as if it's with the rest of it's mob. Just huge lag. It'll be a pain when shadowstep is more common and this is supposed to happen, won't be able to tell the difference between lag and shadowstep.

Believe it or not, there are times where more than one person expressing the same opinion in the same thread is valid. When a question comes up and you get 5 different answers from 5 different posters, how is that really helping the OP? As it is, two people who posted after me (including the person who accused me of spamming) agreed that this was most likely an April Fool's joke. The consensus is now that this was an April Fool's joke and a consensus could never have been reached if nobody was able to agree with a prior post.
