Ive just got to draks and want to get some armor there, whats the easiest and cheapest way to get steel ingots? Is it cheapest to just buy em, or what items can u salvage them best from?

You collect hammer an axes they give alot of steel when you salvg. them.

Well where is really anywhere usually when I need some craft materials I goto ORO or Fa farming lots of stufff drops that let you get some materials but I guess where ever you farm would be nice to get these items and if you need more than 20 steel ingots just buy them. :0

I have around 200 steel over 1 month of farming I guess thats alot.

1. Stop spamming questions.
2. Use an expert or superior salvage kit (not a normal one).
3. Use it on any metal weapon or metal armour (the higher the damage/armour-value the more likely it will give you a steel ingot).
4. Technically you can go anywhere on the map. But places like Grenth's Footprint, the Southern Shiverpeaks, etc are the best place to look for such things.

But since you asked...

Oro and FA are both quests you receive in Grenth's Footprint that take you into Sorrow's Furnace.

Oro = Orozar Highstone.
FA = Final Assault.
