As a hammer warrior in heart, I've seen few of those in RA or any other PvP, and I still wonder why. So I decided to write down this thread so maybe after testing these combos some of you might change your mind.

- Spike builds : These builds together with other 2 damage suport can kill in 2-3 secs 1 full health bar of 480+. They might be heavy on energy, but thats how spike builds are supposed to be, and remember even not using skills, hammers can hit up to 78 dmg in 60 AL targets.

W/E - This used to be one of the most used kind of Warrior in HoH, not anymore, since HoH and GvG are tending more to pressure builds. The important thing in this build is to try to combo Crushing Blow and Aftershock in the same knockdown. ( you gotta have stonefist gauntlets for that )

12 Earth Magic 4 ( 3+1 ) Strength 16 ( 12 +1 +3 ) Hammer mastery

Devastating Hammer, Crushing blow, Irresistible blow, Heavy Blow, Aftershock, Frenzy, Sprint, Ress signet.

or

Backbreaker, Crushing blow, Irresistible blow, Hammer bash, Aftershock, Frenzy, Sprint, Ress signet.

W/Mo - A personal favorite, Holy strike is much more spammable than Aftershock and easier to combo in the same KD with crushing blow due to its casting time of 3/4 of a second. The only backdown is the low damage while compared to Aftershock.

12 Smite Prayers 3+1 Strength 12+1+3 Hammer Mastery

Hammer Bash, Crushing Blow, Irresistible blow, Holy Strike, Signet of Judgement, Mend ailment, Sprint, Ress.
( This is my RA/TA faction farmer, works nice all around and gives a good head start with SoJ if you know how to drop it )

or

Devastating hammer, Crushing Blow, Irresistible blow, Holy Strike, Heavy Blow, Mend ailment, Sprint, Ress.

or even

Backbreaker, Crushing Blow, Irresistible blow, Holy Strike, Hammer Bash, Mend ailment, Sprint, Ress.

- Pressure Builds : Flavor of the Moment, the pressure have a basis on damage over time rather than damage per second. Personally if I'm to take a pressure build into GvG or HoH, I will take a Esviscerate/Tigers Fury W/R or W/N Esviscerate/Frenzy/Plague Touch, but hammers dont do a bad job.

W/E - After the Gale nerf, Shock is a great option if used with sprint. Having 3 possible KD's in your skill bar is one of the best pressure combos around.

12 Air magic
3+1 strength
12+1+3 Hammer mastery

Devastating Hammer, Crushing Blow, Mighty Blow, Heavy Blow, Shock, Frenzy, Sprint, Ress signet.

W/Me - Dev Hammer + Crushing blow + mighty Blow + heavy blow + blackout is a scary combo against monks. Cant get more pressure than that.

12 Domination magic
3+1 Strenght
12+1+3 Hammer mastery

Devastating Hammer, Crushing Blow, Mighty Blow, Heavy Blow, Blackout, Frenzy, Sprint, Ress signet.

W/R - Tigers fury isnt good only using with axes, I noticed that when I IWAY'ed with a TF Hammer warrior in HoH and held it with MATH in the first try. I was playing more of a utility anti-trappers, worked fine interrupting the ghostly hero from capping altar.

9 +1 Strength
9 Beast mastery
12+1+3 Hammer Mastery

Devastating Hammer, Crushing blow, Mighty Blow, Heavy Blow, Tigers fury, Sprint, Antidote signet, Ress signet.

I would put R/W builds here but This is essentially about warriors. Anyway, enjoy it if leave some feedback if it works

Nice builds. Knockdown is one of the most annoying things in PVP. I am just wondering if it is for RA/TA or HoH or GVG?

Your builds are mainly for "spiking" (I'm not sure if it is a correct term for hammer users since "spiking" always sounds like to attack fast with massive damage). One of my concerns is that you don't have skills like Healing Signet or Endure Pain. Hammer warriors don't have a shield and it means you are taking more damage than sword/axe warriors do. With Healing Signet, you can make good use of the knockdown time to heal yourself and then keep swinging your hammer.

Of course, if you are talking about GVG, it maybe ok since you can rely on your monks to do the job for you.

Just my 2 cents
