Ok... I was in lions arch today and saw a char. named *****. He was lvl 20 but was asking stupid questions. He wasn't in a guild so I invited him into mine.
He was asking things like, how do I dance, how do I breakdance, and the worst of all -How do we fight- Then I thought to myself, how does a lvl 20 not know how to fight??? Wouldn't he have to know how just to gain levels. This made me very suspicious. Maybe he was on a stolen account. Also, I noticed he had really bad armor for his level. He had full yellow Wyvern, and had his player status offline, so whipering him was impossible, and he never listened to what you typed.

I dont know if this was just like some april fools prank... But this was just annoying and kind of fishy in some ways.

Did anyone else see him, cus I really think he was on a stolen account. I'm not sure though. and if this was just an april fools joke, It wasn't funny, it was stupid!

I just think this was very weird....

Just thought I would share that with ya' so lemme know ur thoughts too!

Lol, this thread is pointless. Most people, in this game, never communicate. You are wasting server space. This guy is just an average player being powerlvled. Nothing new under the sun

Assuming he knew how to get power levelled, he'd have to have played other games. He would've then, logically, known how to attack in GW.

Really I was just about too ask. You invite people that act like complete idiots into your guild. The answer has allready been given, Im sure he ebayed the acct.
Probably a stolen acct quickly pwer evveled to lvl 20, no doubt the sellers left the original ascalon crappy armor in the storage or whatever, noob boy will probably play for a few days, and then they'll(the sellers) steal back their acct, that is if they havent allready.

Ya that's one of the things you can use to tell if they're truly noobs. Noobs don't know how to go offline and they also don't know how to add you to the ignore list. I once caught a noob in Yak's Bend trying to sell his armor to other noobs. I pmed to inform him that you can't sell armor, but his responses showed he knew this and was just trying to scam like the noob he was. Anyway, I wasn't doing anything at the moment, just in the middle of setting up a PvP group, so I sat there for the longest time hassling him in whisper chat since he wouldn't fess up and the whole time he never put me on ignore or went offline.

Chances are its someone who has bought the account, ebay possibly.. but there must be thousands of people who have bought the game and not played it much.. given it to their little brother or whatever...

as for the offline, well this would depend on the original owner of the account, if the seller had alot of friends but knew he was selling his account he may just set it to 'offline' knowing the noob wouldnt know to change it..

all the other comments are equally plausable though I suppose.

Agreeded, its very likely that the person in question ebayed the account from OP's description.

or...it could be a brother/sister ect of a player who has sneaked in while that person is indisposed (food/bathroom/pet related ect)

i mean, its soo tempting im sure to see what your bor is doing on sometihng like this....all it takes is to sneak in while their downstairs and take hold of their character...a person that has never payed befor will be able to talk, to move ect, but not anythign else lol...
