. It is really powerful to use an element that the foe is weak against. Take for example ettins. |

Chaos damage is inflicted only by mesmer wands/staves, which do not ignore armor. All mesmer spells that inflict damage ignore armor, but don't have a named damage type. (Side note: the necromancer armor sets "Tormentor's" and "Necrotic" increase the damage taken from all sources of holy/light damage, regardless of whether or not it's armor-ignoring.) |
