Kinda, if you stand by the cliff near the res shrine, you can hit the summit with hexes and other non-projectiles. All they can hit you with is deep freeze and rust

I have known about that since SF was first made. It also can be done with a long bow, since they somtimes flee. It was nice for testing various things before the isle of the nameless.
