Try red + green. It gives you a rich copper color. Real nice. I think your gladiator armor should already come in gold. I don't think there is a better gold combo out there for your gladiators armor. I think that gold varys from armor to armor. Some can be dyed gold with a simple silver + yellow.

I've tested for ages to get that "perfect" gold on my Gladiator's and I finally got it! (After spending just -- too much on it. 
)
Had to find something to match the hair; this is [Black], [Silver], [Yellow], [Yellow] on each peace. The black dye gives the goldish colour a nice pale "glow" while the silver makes it shine a bit more. The two yellows give it the deep goldish pigment you want.

just 1 problem, the guy who posted said he doent have enouth for a sylver dye... lol then forget black
