wouldn't you want at least 9 heal? 9 gives you 7+3 with mending and breeze, which is your max regen.

i see breakdown for heal is 12, you get +3 manding with 12, +4 with 13.
get heal cap, cast with it to get 13. switch to smite cap.
my 2 cents.
sno is right about regen max is 10, you want at least that,(i mean at least 9 in heal)
myself like to have +4 in manding.

Kosh, you should not have 12 healing when soloing...you can't go beyond the max regen and it isn't going to make a difference vs aataxes if you have 7 regen or 10 regen. With an SS necro however, I often go 13 in healing simply for convenience of having that extra regen when bleeding.

Allonback: Yes, it is with runes in... how many 55 monk posts have you read? The build is based upon lowering your hp with 5 sup runes and a -50hp offhand and using Protective Spirit to lower incoming damage to an easily manageable level. Zephyr is right btw, the build is no different because you do not attack with your sword/axe/wand/whatever you're using, you place casting mods on it to help you.

You also will need a max wand *customized* for you in order to kill dying nightmares.

the extra pips of healing can help if you are in a conditiony area. I don't see anything really wrong with doing 12 heal so that you don't have such a problem with bleeding + life siphon + crippling anguish + conjure phantasm...

3+3+3+5=degen of 11
I always die if I have this combo stacked on me and only have 9 in healing (+10 regen). Never tried it with 12 heal but it might work (+12 regen).

Yes, but for a UW run you don't get that problem...

Also, things that can cast crippling anguish and conjure phantasm often can remove enchantments.

You don't use the weapon for damage, you just use it for adrenaline. Axe = 2 damage, sword = 2 damage, either way. Everyone just uses axe for the FFS's half casting time 10%.
