I am a big axe collector and want to get the best axes I can find. I have mainly 15^50 axes with different mods for different fighting styles. I recently purchaced 3 axes with 15 in stance efect on them thinking that "Well..i'm always in stance while fighting..so it's 15 always, which is better than ^50 when I am below 50% life" right?..What is the best mod on a weapon?
15 below 50 sucks but isn't as bad as "while enchanted/hexed" if you don't go for that kind of build. 15^50 is great..until the battle gets heavy and you stop cranking out damage..
During fights you're always in stance unless you run so basically...15 in stance is the best right?
Please help me figure this out. Thanks
15^50, 15 always -5en., or 15 in stance What is best?

15% unconditional > 15^50 > 15% always (-5e) > 15% in stance > 15% enchanted > 20% hexed > 20v50
Remember that some skins are alot rarer than others (i.e. - serpent, stone summit, etc.).
Ideally you'd have either a 15% unconditional axe (with perfect mods) or both a 15^50 and a 20v50 (with perfect mods) which you could keep switching between depending on your current health level.
Hope this helps!

Well I like to keep the energy I have for my build so the -5 energy versions just don't appeal to me. The suggested over/under "axe chucks" method seems like a win win to me but not sure i'll go that route. Thanks for clearing some of it up.
I think my main question is this: is 15^50 not as good as 15 in stance?

Money wise the 15^50 obviously are better - just look at any "price check" forum, auction, or trade spam. Basically because the reasons above - they aren't build specific so greater demand.
For your build? If, as you say, you are in a stance more often than you are greater then 50% health do you really need anyone here to tell you which to use? As for the always - run lower than 5 energy more often than you are in a stance or less than 50% health (that is, are you needing that 5 energy)? Again, do we really need to say after you answer that question?
You could also mean best build/weapon combo - but that's not what you asked (and I have no idea the answer there - though I suspect that could go for pages and pages with no real answer
).
"Best", combat wise, will most likely be several different stat axes for different situations (and builds if you change yours much). IIRC there are +20<50, "best" would also need one of them. Though I could be wrong - never found one of those beasties.

I think it depends a bit on your style of game play. For me, the 15% stance sword works fine. I also have a 15% always -5 energy. That doesn't present a big energy management problem when used with glads and equipped with a zealous hilt. The hilt really does a fine job keeping the energy charged - I started using the hilt for FOW spider runs and liked it so well that I've changed over several of my axes and swords from vampiric to zealous.
I apologize if I misunderstood your original question, but it sounds like you don’t quite understand the "while in a stance" mod. The "while in a stance" mod means you get the "-2 Damage or +15% whatever" while using a "Stance" skill. It sounds like you were saying "Well. I’m always in stance while fighting. So it's 15 always". "While in a "stance" doesn’t mean when you're just "standing" there fighting. It means when you’re using a "Stance" skill. Again, sorry if you already knew this & I misread your post.

I think overall, 15%^50% is better in PvP for Warriors and Rangers, as they are rarely attacked before the fight is already decided.
In PvE, Warriors generally run several stances to reduce the damage they take, so In Stance is quite good. Rangers can go either way really, since they shouldn't be getting attacked ever, but at the same time, should be using Tiger's Fury at least 70% of the time.

actually dont forget that if your hp drops below 50% you re in trouble so you better start spamming monk abd run like hell, not calculate damage dealt. so 15^50 is pretty much always, expetfor RARE cases when having like 30% of max hp doesnt bother you when fighting anouther warior or some boss. butnormally youre in trouble.
