Honestly, I don't see why the Flamberge isn't more popular than it is. I think it's pretty freakin cool looking.

Current price I see victo's blade go for in LA europe servers is between 13-17k, a good price for the best stats on a sword (IMO, dont flame my opinion), and IDS' i see for about 20-30k

I think the Crystalline sword is very popular on European severs atm. I see lots of people buying them. Long sword are my favourite.. they seem to be increasing in value. To most people, Flamberges are pretty ugly so they are hard to sell. Also, I see way more people selling Victos Blade than I do buying. Its a very common green sword.

Crystaline and Brute are the most sought-after because of rarity, followed by the fellblade. The shadow sword is already fading in popularity a bit, as drops will do after the first blast when they start dropping.
I agree with the poster who said the long sword is gaining in popularity and also increasing in price. I've played since the beginning and have all the skins including brute and crystaline and - as far as looks - long sword is my favorite.

m8 HoD is popular but i use a crystaline over anything eles

HoD's hardly count since they're used for farming and in some PvP builds (if you have the gold to dish out). But as for the most popular swords within the average player's price range, either Victo's Blade, Icy Dragon Sword, or a Shadow Blade.

why is the Fellblade so popular/sought after? The one i have is always 14% -5 enegry and people are drooling over it...
got an ok crystaline (stats) for 15k (US server) this past weekend.

Well those aren't bad stats the Fellblade is popular because of the rarity of the skin and the fact that some people think it is a fraction of a second faster than the other swords. I don't know of anyone that has tested this at all so I can't say one way or the other whether it is true or not. I don't think so.

I keep a few swords in my inventory bag and I use the F1 - F4 grouping for quick weapon changes. If I am fighting Icy Imp I switch to my FDS. If I am fighting fiery monsters I switch to my icy sword. I also keep a vampiric swd and switch up in the middle of a battle to my fellblade.
Some of you mike think this is silly but it depends on the opponent. I found it to be a useful strategy.
My fellblade is my weapon of choice and is my favorite swd in the game. I have a furious fellblade of fortitude.

Crystalline is popular but unattainable for most, but is highly desired.
HoD Sword is popular and desirable, but expensive and are usually wanted by
IMonks and caster classes.
Fellblade is a uncommon sword not rare. People love it because it looks massive and impressive and the price pretty much reflects that.
IDS/FDS were quite popular when they both first were around (at different times of course), but eventually their price plummeted A LOT as they are not so useful (unchangeable hilt/prefix).
I got a near perfect Crystalline and a perfect Fellbade for aesthetics>performance, but when I fight competitively (HA, GvG, not screwing around in RA) , I use my customized 15^50 Long Sword (short sword skin) from the Drok's crafter.
And NO, all swords swing the same, Fellblade does NOT swing a fraction of a second quicker or anything like that. They all swing every 1.33 seconds.
EDIT: Apparently it was a rumor that Fellblade swung faster despite its behemoth image. Even mentioned it on GuildWiki :/.
