flame spiiter nerfed??

well, a guildie was telling me that a couple of days ago they nerfed the flame spitter. is this true??? he says that suposedly they are going in auctions for 1.5 mil k and i was wondering if this was true cuz i wanted one for my 55 monk!!

he was prolly talking about the 15% FFS... those sell for 1.5 mill+... you can still easily get a 10% FFS

oh, ok. still its getting annoying not being able to get a 10% flame spitter because collecter is only there when home server has favor, and euros have favor almost always nowadays

Umm...I'm pretty sure it was proven that favour has nothing to do with if the guy appears or not, it's just random.

it's infuriatingly random, but should not have anything to do with favour.

anyways, i sell them for about 1k. that seems to be a pretty good price for them.

...there's one in the auction now, over 2mil. Makes no sense to me. Sure, it's been nerfed and reduced now, but you are talking 5% difference. You can get Gordac's rod that will do 10% of the recharge mod and 10% for half casting time, is it really worth 2mil more to get that extra 5% of 1/2 recharge? You'd spend all that money and probably never see that much again for a long time...totally not worth it and it's hard for me to imagine anyone having that much to spend. Not to put it all down, but this is what confuses me about the game with perfect mods and prices.

Just got back from Pockmark Flats and the collector was there, as he usually is for me. He's only not been there a couple times when I've gone. I guess I'm just lucky. And I sell them for 1k also.

500gp-1k is a normal price.

The 15% isn't expensive because its any more "pwnage" than a 10%, its because it is discontinued, and collectors have FITS over discontinued stuff.

it's worth that much because basically no one has one... some players like to have one-of-a-kind weapons

and tbh... 2 mill isn't really that much... i'm prolly around 3 mill now and i'm pretty casual... tho i have been playing since release... :P
